That one time I met Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood from Whose Line is it Anyway?
My “other job” is in the meetings and events industry. Since 2012, I’ve also worked as a meetings producer, photographer, and marcomm professional for a production company in Minneapolis. What this basically means is that when a corporate client of mine holds a meeting, I attend the meeting to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
In 2018, one of my clients hired Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood for their evening entertainment. And I died. I’ve never had a “star struck” moment before — I’ve worked and interacted with professional sports players, high-profile motivational speakers, an one time, an actual astronaut. But Colin and Brad…I didn’t know what to say! I’ve been watching them on television since I was very young, which I think had a lot to do with it.
They couldn’t have been nicer people to work with. They were polite, kind, and so freaking hilarious I cried from laughing so hard. And after the event, I had my photo taken with them – I look terrible, because in the moment, I forgot how to stand for a photo, but it was great all the same.
