Summer is the perfect time for a barn wedding—the plants are in bloom, everything is lush with green, and the days are longer which means more time to celebrate! Summer weddings just hit different.
Cody and Kristin were married on July 24, 2021, at The Barn at Stoney Hills in Cushing, Minnesota. The Barn sits on a 408-acre farm surrounded by gorgeous rolling hills. The barn itself is huge; capable of holding up to 350 people!
Cody and Kristin opted to exchange vows outside in the summer sun under an arch. Toward the end of the ceremony, the wedding party did something a bit unique—they gathered in a circle, arms wrapped around each other and said a prayer for the newlyweds.
At sunset, during the reception, we went outside to catch the golden hour. We made use of the tree swing overlooking the pond that fits two people! The property was gorgeous—trails, a rustic bridge, open fields—and Cody and Kristin made the most of it.
Congratulations, Cody and Kristin!
