Emily + Eric | Como Zoo & Conservatory Wedding Photography
I get seriously excited any time a couple tells me their venue is at Como Zoo and Conservatory. Located by Lake Como in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the venue is one of my favorite places to shoot weddings — it’s beautiful all year round!
Emily and Eric originally planned for an intimate June wedding, but we rescheduled due to COVID — I later found out they picked their new date based partially on my availability (I’m so glad they did). Thankfully, the flowers at the Conservatory are always rotating, and the weather that day was lovely, giving us plenty of opportunities to take photos indoors and outdoors.
The couple booked four hours of coverage — enough for a first look, couples portraits, family photos, wedding party shots, ceremony coverage, reception coverage, and some night photos.
Ceremonies at Como are generally held at the Sunken Garden — couples are usually married at the front or back terrace, while their guests line the aisles. At the end of their ceremony, we took a photo of everyone in attendance from the top of the terrace!
Congratulations Emily and Eric!
