Jess + Eric | Duluth Micro Wedding

Duluth Wedding Photography | Jess & Eric's Micro Wedding at The Garden

Micro-weddings have become all the rage in the past few years. They’ve become a simplified, convenient wedding solution for those working around restrictions, traveling far, or with spread out families.

The couple planned their wedding in a stunning 90 days! Jess is from Canada, and after COVID, was having a hard time obtaining a visa. Once the visa was approved, Jess flew down to Duluth to meet Eric. The couple married at a new venue, The Garden, in Duluth.

Duluth has no shortage of beautiful places in and around the city. We decided to bounce around to the myriad parks and take couple’s portraits (there was no wedding party). Of course, we stopped at Chipotle on the way back.

Catering served dessert and party favors in the style of the newlyweds favorite things—maple syrup, coffee, and mini-pies!

One of my favorite ways to take wedding photos is to turn it into a game. We decided to play Table Dash. The game is to run around to each table and try to get a photo with everyone at the wedding in the quickest amount if time.

To close out a beautiful day, the newlyweds ran through a sparkler tunnel.

Congratulations, Jess and Eric!
