Bright Hues and Bespoke Florals
I had the privilege of documenting a truly unforgettable celebration at one of Minneapolis’s most iconic venues – the Weisman Art Museum. The wedding of Yuni Park and Tony Cui was recently featured in Minnesota Bride Magazine and for good reason: it was a masterclass in color, creativity, and personal style that perfectly reflected the couple’s artistic spirits.

A Canvas of Color and Creativity
From the moment I stepped into the museum, it was clear this wedding would be anything but ordinary. Drawing inspiration from their shared love of art, Yuni (a landscape designer) envisioned a day that felt like an immersive art installation. The Weisman’s modern architecture and natural light provided the perfect setting for a celebration defined by bold design and intentional detail.

Rather than sticking with a traditional aisle, the couple chose a swirl-patterned layout that guided guests through the gallery, giving everyone amazing vantage points for the ceremony and creating movement and intrigue throughout the space.

Florals That Felt Like Fine Art
One of the most striking aspects of this wedding was the floral design. With vibrant blooms, lush tulle, unexpected foliages, and towering allium, the arrangements felt sculptural and full of life. These one-of-a-kind floral elements brought texture and dimension to every corner of the gallery, marrying soft romanticism with bold artistic flair.

During cocktail hour, whimsical paper lanterns suspended overhead created an intimate, festive atmosphere. These vertical design elements didn’t just illuminate the space – they enveloped guests in a joyful sphere that encouraged celebration and connection.

Collaborative Magic Behind the Scenes
This day wouldn’t have come together without a deeply collaborative team. Working with Dos Goats Plans and floral artists from Rose Imaginative, Yuni and Tony trusted their vendors to bring their vision to life, resulting in a wedding that was both bold and seamless from start to finish.
As the couple shared in their feature: trusting the experts and opening lines of communication with every professional involved made all the difference in transforming their dream into reality.
A Day to Remember
Photographing this wedding was a reminder of how meaningful intentional design can be. Every color-saturated bouquet, every architectural line of the museum, and every candid moment between the couple unfolded into images that are nothing short of art. I’m so grateful to have been part of Yuni and Tony’s story — and thrilled to see their celebration live on through Minnesota Bride Magazine’s feature.
