The cold never stops a Minnesota wedding.
Alicia and Jordan were married in January 2020 at the Calhoun Beach Club. Despite bitter temperatures, their celebration of love helped warm the day.
We were able to sneak outside for a few quick portraits—brrr! Along with a removable train on her dress, Alicia sported a fur shawl from the early 1900s that was passed down through her family to keep her warm. Jordan wore a maroon tuxedo jacket and University of Minnesota socks to show his Gopher pride.
At sunset, the ceremony commenced with members of bridal party being guided down the aisle by candlelight—a beautiful addition for any wedding photo!
The reception was a blast and there was no shortage of dancing. The bridal party really knew how to party! But it was the heartfelt and sometimes comedic speeches given by the couple’s friends and family that stole the night. Jordan and Alicia were brought to laughter and tears as their closest loved shared stories and well-wishes.
Congratulations, Alicia and Jordan!
