Michelle and John were married at the beautiful Edward Anne Estate – Bavaria Downs in Chaska, Minnesota. The space is home to two venues — Edward Anne Estate, designed in the vein of a French country estate, and Equestria West, its newest venue built in the style of an equestrian estate.
Since the weather was beautiful, the couple chose to have their ceremony outside, surrounded by the rolling hills of the property’s 200 acres. And with it being the time of year, the woods and wildflowers on the property were lush with green.
It was important to the couple to wait to see each other until the ceremony, so we took separate wedding party portraits before, and finished group photos after! The Edward Anne Estate boasts a stunning backdrop for wedding photography, with its European-inspired interior, outdoor pillars, and elegant French doors. During the summer months, the grounds are a trifecta of wildflowers, prairie, and Italian villa. Capturing the beauty of this venue in photographs is always a delight.
The reception was held indoors, in the venue’s ballroom. With floor to ceiling windows, natural stone floors, and a customizable LED ceiling, the entire space is perfect for dinner and dancing. After toasts, the newlyweds and I stepped out for a few sunset photos before the dance. At the end of our time together, we grabbed one final night photo on the veranda to wrap up coverage of their beautiful evening.
Congrats, Michelle and John!
